Arduino uno Windows 11 Driver Troubleshooting
Arduino Uno drivers for Windows 11 are included with the Arduino IDE installation. Download the latest IDE and install it, and Windows 11 will automatically recognize the board. If not, manually update via Device Manager > Ports (COM & LPT) > Right-click Unknown Device > Update driver > Browse my computer > Select the folder in the Arduino installation path.

Troubleshooting Driver Installation
- Automatic Install: Modern versions of the Arduino IDE automatically install the necessary USB drivers.
- Manual Driver Location: If Windows cannot find the driver, navigate to
C:\Program Files\Arduino IDE\resources\app\drivers(or wherever the IDE was installed). - Unknown Device (CH340): Many third-party Uno boards use the CH340 serial chip instead of the official ATmega16U2. If it shows as an unknown device, you may need to download and install the CH340 driver specifically.
- Driver Signature Error: If Windows 11 refuses to install due to verification issues, you may need to temporarily disable driver signature enforcement.
